Days 1-2 Amsterdam

To Amsterdam

Fly from the UK to Amsterdam, before transferring to your vessel, the Travelmarvel Diamond or Jewel. On board, you enjoy complimentary house wine, beer, and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, and 24-hour complimentary tea and coffee.

Explore Amsterdam in a glass-topped boat on Day 2, enjoying a scenic cruise through the myriad of beautiful canals, enjoying the pretty architecture of the tall and narrow houses that Amsterdam is famed for.

This afternoon, visit Utrecht to see the iconic 'Rembrandt's Windmills'. There is a Captain's Welcome Dinner in the evening, with live entertainment.

Day 3 Augustusburg Castle, Brühl

Arrive in Cologne this morning and continue south to Brühl. Here, you embark on a fascinating excursion to the elegant Augustusburg Castle. Built by the archbishop Clemens August, the expansive estate is one of the country's best examples of German Rococo. After some time here, continue on to the similarly designed Falkenlust hunting lodge, which once provided German dignitaries with a luxurious place of residence when out hunting in the surrounding forests.

Day 4 Rüdesheim

To Rüdesheim

Today, continue through the breathtaking scenery of the Rhine Gorge to Rüdesheim, home to the beautiful 9th-century Bromserburg, the oldest castle on the Rhine.

Here, join the Winzerexpress to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, which has one of the largest collections of self-playing instruments. After time here, return to Rüdesheim centre on the Winzerexpress to re-board your vessel.

Day 5 Miltenberg

Coffee and cake in Miltenberg

Arrive in Miltenberg today, where you have the chance to immerse yourself in the local culture when you are invited into the homes of some of the town's friendly residents. Here you enjoy coffee and traditional cakes, and learn about the area's culture and history.

Day 6 Würzburg


Today, you are in Würzburg, where there is a guided tour and some free time. Würzburg is part of the excellent Franconia wine region, so why not visit one of the many wine taverns that this region is famous for?

UNESCO-listed Bamberg is your destination today, which you explore on a guided tour. Here, see some of the key sights, including the impressive Romanesque Cathedral and its wealth of sculptures, and the twin spires of Michaelsberg Abbey. The beautiful timber-framed houses in the medieval centre, such as the Altstadt and Rathaus buildings, gives the city a truly timeless feel.

Days 8-9 Regensburg

This morning, discover Nuremberg on a guided tour, including the court buildings used in the trials after World War II. On Day 9, cruise to Regensburg, a delightful city with one of the best-preserved medieval town centres in Europe, for a walking tour.

Melk and Dürnstein

This morning, arrive in Melk, situated in Austria's wine-growing region and gateway to the scenic Wachau Valley. Here, visit the glorious Benedictine Abbey, seeing the beautiful Marble Room and the Abbey Church. After time here, continue on to Dürnstein, where you may explore independently. Perhaps visit the beautiful Stift Dürnstein, a monastery characterised by it's gorgeous blue tower.

This morning explore glorious Vienna on a guided coach tour. There is also the chance to visit the Naschmarkt, where you may sample delicious local delicacies.

Day 13 is spent at leisure. The city is an effortless blend of past and present, as the grand imperial palaces sit alongside avant-garde galleries. Why not take the chance to visit beautiful Schönbrunn Palace, or indulge in a slice of Sachertorte in a cafe?

Reach Budapest today, the lively capital of Hungary. This stunning city of two halves is divided by the majestic Danube and sewn together by a collection of beautiful, elegant bridges.

Discover Budapest during a guided tour, and later, enjoy the beautiful city at night on an evening cruise. On Day 15, your cruise comes to an end. From here, transfer to the airport and fly home.
